Phoenix for Mac Leopard is a stealth program that can pinpoint the location of a thief and collect vital details to assist in the recovery of a stolen Mac. When your Mac connects to an internet network, an authentication dialog asks the user to enter a password. If the user fails to enter the correct password within the pre-determined time limit, hidden alerts are immediately sent out alerting the owner of the laptopa�?s location.

Features of Phoenix for Mac Leopard:

* Alert Messages are sent out silently in the background with no indication that the software is running when connected to the Internet. Repetitive alerts can be set to send a message every minute.
* Password protection ensures there is no unauthorized access to the software. To prevent any mishandling, your laptop will automatically a�?freeze upa�? and disply details on how to contact the owner.
* Autoruns every time the computer connects to the Internet.
* Skyhook Wireless, a location-based service, packs the geolocation of your stolen laptop into a web address and sends it out with your alert (WiFi positioning may not work 100% in all areas) (Currently not available with Snow Leopard)
* Records a video using the built-in iSight camera* and immediately sends is out vian an alert together with other important information: IP addresses, machine serial number, MAC Hardware Address, and even details of nearby wireless networks! *Works on Mac machines without camera too.
* Using Twitter, you can receive alerts via IM, email, from the web, and even as SMS Text message to your phone.
