ECMerge Pro compares and merges local or FTP folders for texts and images, side-by-side or 3-way. It colours syntax for many languages, supports many office and archive formats, pretty prints XML. Differences are computed at line, word or character level to help you find small changes quickly. ECMerge Pro generates many reports formats, including XML. It outperforms most SCC differenciation tools. Also runs on Windows, Mac OS X & Solaris.

ECMerge Pro saves automatically sessions and let you save your own named sessions to launch them again in one click or with the command line. ECMerge Pro generates reports in Unix patch, XML and HTML format for Text, Images and Folder Comparisons.

ECMerge Pro is a complete solution able to compare your Word files as well as merging your source code, applying patches with preview or producing CSV reports. Its scripting based on JavaScript let you use its capabilities and define new commands.

A shell extension is provided under Windows to select items to compare and launch ECMerge. A command line is provided to merge files and generate reports from batches. A Standard version limited to side-by-side comparison exists. Runs on Windows, Mac OS X, Linux&Solaris.
